i know this is for short term weight loss but how much will i lose?

breakfast: ice tea lemon light
lunch: chicken salad
dinner: (i will try not to eat anything but if i don't manage) a tomato or a fruit

For any weight loss, it is vital for eating three sufficient meals a day. Once you start eating properly, the pounds will pile back on!
If you want to lose weight, and quickly, just cut your calories down by about 500 to what you usually eat. This is about 1200 - 1500 calories a day, it seems a lot, but it is honestly not! There is a reason the GDA is 2000 calories, and that is because this amount of food contains the right food catigories to make certain parts of our body function.. Cutting this down, and avoiding 'junk food' will instanly make you lose water weight/fat.
Your lunch is fine, but you need a bigger breakfast to get your metabolism going (this will weaken if you eat what you plan) and a dinner that will satisfy your body throughout the night. The body needs food to burn during sleep, if it has nothing, it will result into storing any fat you give it - which after a few days you may not see an improvement, you will soon enough start putting the weight back on..
Everyone would love to see results very quickly, but with a little bit of exercise, you will see it quicker, but what you plan to do is very unhealthy and isn't a long term plan, it won't work for a week even!
Just stick to 3 healthy meals a day, 1200 - 1500 calories for your metabolism to stay strong and to help burn these calories, exercise a bit, again burning the calories and weigh yourself WEEKLY. Weight fluctations (slight lowering and raising of weight between short spaces of time) can be upsetting and downheartening, and to avoid this putting you off your long term goal, weekly weighing is best. Record the results and see how you do? Just give it a try.. This option is much healthier and I don't want you to be ill..
